Theft: Reported by , 3400 Brookside Road; storm drain cover taken from area of 1539 Kaitlyn Road between 6 p.m. July 24 and 11:15 a.m. July 25, police said; $200 value.

Theft: Reported by Jordan Youngblood of Tobyhanna Township, Monroe County; Sony Vaio laptop, laptop bag, Logitech headset and Microsoft controller taken from his room between 12:00 and 2:45 p.m. July 30 after checkout at , 4325 Hamilton Blvd., police said; victim returned to the room to try to recover the items and they were gone; no value given.

Criminal mischief: Reported by Brittney Elizabeth Kohler, Selinsgrove, Snyder County; vehicle scratched with key July 29 at 1094 Mill Creek Road, police said; no damage estimate provided.

Charged: Cheryl Hyman, 52, of Allentown on July 28 with false identification provided to law enforcement; police said she gave a false name and date of birth to them during a traffic stop at Route 222 and Mill Creek Road.

Theft from motor vehicle: Reported July 30 by Michael Tisi of 5216 Hanover Drive; car entered and two bottles of prescription medication and a cell phone charger were taken between 11 p.m. July 29 and 6:30 a.m. July 30, police said; no value given.
