Officials of a Lower Macungie hardware store believe they have nailed down the source of recent thefts after an arrest of a Macungie-area teen, according to police.
said that Fatou Nene Sylla, 18, on several occasions stole from Sears Hardware, 7150 Hamitlon Blvd., totaling about $1,800. The thefts took place between April 8 and June 4.
The crime was classified theft by unlawful taking, but did not indicate whether money or merchandise was taken.
Charges were filed with Magisterial District Judge Michael Faulkner.
