Teen Steals From Wal-Mart and Flees

Where arrests or charges mentioned do not indicate convictions.

Pennsylvania State Police at Fogelsville recently reported the following Lower Macungie incidents:

Criminal mischief: Reported Dec. 24 by Beverly L. Yorston at 1478 Pinewind Drive; eggs thrown at vehicle, police said; no value given.

Charged: Maria Torre-Santiago, 27, of Allentown Dec. 21 with retail theft at Wal-Mart, 1091 Mill Creek Road; attempted to leave the store with several pieces of jewelry and clothing, police said; no value given.

Charged: Five juveniles ages 13 and 14 with criminal mischief Dec. 16; smashed with rocks a rear car window of a resident in the 1300 block of Oak Drive, police said; $200 value.

Criminal mischief: Reported Dec. 8 by the Hillside School, 2697 Brookside Road; fence damaged, police said; no value given.

Theft from motor vehicle: Reported Dec. 8 by Kathedra Kim Farmer at 5702 Greens Drive; car broken into and jewelry removed, police said; no value given.

Charged: Raymundo Amilpa-Lopez, 19, of Orefield Dec. 18 with retail theft; was seen stealing items at , 1091 Mill Creek Road, police said; ran after being confronted by store personnel and was later found walking along Hamilton Boulevard; charges filed in District Court.

Charged: Bruce Miller, 53, of Danielsville Dec. 23 with retail theft; was seen placing two items from racks at Wal-Mart into his coat without paying, police said; stopped before leaving the store by loss prevention workers; $126 value.

Charged: Matthew Mark Berger, 38, of Macungie Dec. 22 with retail theft, stole a $30 gift card from a counter at Wal-Mart, police said.
