Thefts from Vehicles Abound
Pennsylvania State Police report recent Lower Macungie Township incidents.
The following incidents recently were reported by :
Theft from motor vehicle: three incidents reported overnight April 5 at 2037 Rolling Meadow Drive, 6122 Timberknoll Drive and 2184 Greenmeadow Drive; items taken included a laptop computer, nursing books, shoes, clothing and change, police said; no value given.
Theft from motor vehicle: Reported overnight April 5 by James Fosbenner of 1390 S. Krocks Road; $50 taken from unlocked vehicle parked at his home, police said.

Access device fraud: Reported March 21 by Denise Conklin Murphy of 1132 Treeline Drive; unauthorized use of victim's credit card with $29.95 purchase and attempt to open a PayPal account, police said.
Criminal mischief: Reported April 8 by an 86-year-old woman in the 6000 block of Timberknoll Drive; three rear house windows broken with bb pellets, police said; no value given.

Charged: Wilfredo Reyes, 42, of Macungie with simple assault; struck 6- and 17-year-old boys April 4 at 1287 Mohr Circle causing unspecified minor injuries to both, police said.
Criminal mischief: Reported April 7 by Robert Engelman of 2201 Woodridge Drive; rear window of vehicle broken with object, police said; no value given.
Criminal mischief: Reported March 30 by a 60-year-old man in the 4500 block of Hess Circle; unspecified damage done to home, police said; one of several acts of vandalism done at the address since May.
Charged: Francesca Albeck of 118 Frank Drive, Northampton, April 15 with retail theft; several items taken from at 1091 Mill Creek Road worth $32, police said.
