50-Inch TV, Laptop Taken From Cedar Crest Home, Police Say

TV, laptop computer and movie cameras are among items stolen from Lower Macungie residence, troopers report.

A thief with a penchant for electronics or anticipating cash from the resale of hot goods found some items to his liking at a Lower Macungie Township residence, according to police.

Someone in the span of two weeks made off with several items valued at $2,300 from the home of Ray Allen Leibensperger and Jean Marion McFadden of 2300 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., said state police at Fogeslville. The theft occurred between Jan. 14 and 29. Police just released details of the crime this week.

Items taken included a 50-inch Sony television, a Panasonic laptop computer and two movie cameras, police said.
