Thief Takes Diamond Ring From Lower Mac Home, Police Say

The following Lower Macungie Township arrest information was supplied by the state police at Fogelsville. It does not indicate a conviction.

Theft from motor vehicle: Reported by Slawomir Krempa of Macungie between 6 and 11:55 p.m. Jan. 3 along Industrial Way; laptop computer, GPS and Cobra CB radio stolen from commercial vehicle, police said; no value given.

Charged: Stephen Reyes, 19, at 10 p.m. Jan. 2 with harassment; shoved a 58-year-old woman during an argument at 5489 Princeton Road, police said.

Harassment: Reported by a 34-year-old woman at 3284 Sequoia Drive received unwanted text messages between Dec. 30 and Jan. 1, police said.

Access device fraud: Reported by Christine Ann Koman of 8078 Hiritage Drive; victim's credit cards were used to make unauthorized purchases Dec. 30 and 31, police said; no value given.

Criminal mischief: Reported by four residents in the 8000 block of Creamery Road either Jan. 4 or 5, police said.

Theft: Reported by Margaret K. Millard, of 4692 Bluegrass Lane; diamond ring taken between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31 of 2012, from inside her home, police said; no value or description given.

Charged: Stephen Scott Shellhammer of 2203 Greenmeadow Drive at 6:35 p.m. Jan. 6 with failure to confine his dog; the dog attacked another belonging to Jimmy Lee Soles in front of Shellhammer's home, police said.

Charged: Amanda Elizabeth Murphy, 21, of Pottstown and Ashley Lynn Kerak, 20, of Allentown at 8:37 p.m. Jan. 7; both had drug paraphernalia at Metro Beauty Academy, 4977 Medical Center Circle, police said.
