'Tis the Season for Criminal Mischief

Spate of vandalism incidents reported in Lower Macungie, including damage done to Christmas lights.

Vandals were busy in recent days in Lower Macungie Township, including setting their sights on damaging Christmas lights, according to .

Barbara Spagnoletti of 2611 Fieldview Drive reported that lights in front of her home were damaged between 10 and 11 p.m. Nov. 26, police said. No value was given on the damage, and police ask that anyone with information call them at 610-395-1438.

Criminal mischief: Reported Nov. 25 by Dries Do It Center, 3580 Brookside Road; store window damaged by BB pellet, police said; no value given.

Criminal mischief: Reported Nov. 25 by Leo George Schwindenhammer at 2189 Riverbend Road; front window of residence damaged by BB pellet, police said; no value given.

Criminal mischief: Reported Nov. 24 by a 72-year-old woman in the 2100 block of Riverbend Road; rear window of 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee smashed, police said; $200 estimated value.

Criminal mischief: Reported Nov. 26 by Jennifer Weinsteiger of Zionsville at , 4440 Hamilton Blvd.; vehicle parked in terminal lot scratched across driver's side door and trunk, police said; no value given.

Criminal mischief: Reported by William Wisser Nov. 26 between 10 and 10:30 p.m. at 1458 Fritch Drive; garage door of residence damaged by someone running into door, police said; no value given.

On the brightside, you've avoided getting a police dept, HOWEVER, Fogelsville sub-station has at least 2 troopers on, late nights, covering from Schnecksville to rural Coppersburg. I'd get insurance, and expect your displays destroyed, 'cause police not really out there much. :-)
