A former Lower Macungie Township worker recently admitted to raping a 13-year-old boy between August 2011 and March.
James Michael Andrews admitted to Judge Douglas Reichley that he raped the boy -- sometimes on township property, according to a Morning Call report.
Andrews waived his right to a preliminary hearing on April 9.

"He's not denying he did something wrong, but we don't know yet what he'll plead to," his attorney Michael Ira Stump of Macungie said at that time.
Andrews pleaded guilty to rape by forcible compulsion, the report said, and in return, four other lesser charges were dropped: involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, sexual assault, corruption of minors and indecent assault.

None, however, carry a more severe sentence than the rape charge.
The plea deal calls for a sentence of up to 20 years in state prison, the report said.
