Two More Unlocked Vehicles Are Target of Thieves

Both vehicles were in Shepherd Hills; loose change, prescription medication taken from one, state police say.

Two more unlocked vehicles were victimized by thieves in Lower Macungie recently, this time in the Shepherd Hills development.

A state police fax says someone entered an unlocked vehicle parked on the 1100 block of Eagle Street on Friday (Jan. 17) and escaped with $5 in loose change and a bottle of prescription medication valued at about $40.

The theft occurred between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m. The victim was a 47-year-old man.

Earlier in the month, meanwhile, an unlocked vehicle was entered on the 5600 block of Greens Drive and unspecified items were taken. The victim was a 26-year-old woman.

The theft occurred between 9:30 p.m. Jan. 8, a Wednesday, and 7:30 p.m. Jan. 9.

State police at Fogelsville ask anyone with information to call them at 610-395-1438.
