Unwanted Phone Calls Irk Lower Mac Man, Police Say

Criminal mischief: Reported by Diane Marie Krogstad at 4312 Clear Way; rear vehicle window smashed with tool between 10 p.m. Jan. 29 and 6 a.m. Jan. 30, police said; no value given.
Attempted theft from motor vehicle: Reported by a 56-year-old woman along Rolling Meadow Drive; unlocked vehicle entered but nothing taken between 11:30 p.m. Jan. 16 and 7:30 a.m. Jan. 17, police said.
Attempted theft from motor vehicle: Reported Sunday by an unspecified resident of Cold Spring Road; unlocked vehicle entered but nothing taken, police said.

Attempted theft from motor vehicle: Reported by Jennifer Margaret Gagliardo; unlocked vehicle entered but nothing taken at 1460 Walnut Lane between 8 p.m. Jan. 24 and 8:30 a.m. Jan. 25, police said.
Harassment: Reported by a 35-year-old man of the 1900 block of Strathmore Drive; several unwanted telephone calls received in the early hours of Jan. 18 through 20 from an unknown man, police said.
