Wedge Lane Is Latest Site for Lower Mac Car Break-in, Police Say
Other recent car incidents were on Berwyn Lane, Buttercup Road, Peppermint Drive.
Wedge Lane has joined the list of Lower Macungie streets where cars have been broken into or vandalized in the last two months.
The latest incident -- on the 5000 block of Wedge Lane -- occurred between Tuesday afternoon and Thursday afternoon, state police at Fogelsville said.
Various items were taken from the car. The incident was reported by a 32-year-old woman, the police report said.
The report did not say if the vehicle was locked.
Some of the other recent car incidents in Lower Macungie include:
- Smashed car window on Berwyn Lane at the end of October.
- Car vandalized on Buttercup Road in mid-October.
- GPS device and headphones stolen from vehicle on Peppermint Drive in late September.
- Two unlocked cars on Heather Road and Walnut Lane in Ancient Oaks in early September.
