The race for two of the three commissioners seats up for grabs could be decided in the primary. That's because only one Democrat—John A. Yurasits—is seeking his party's nomination in the primary for one of the three seats, and it is not known whether there will be any write-in Democratic candidates for the remaining two seats.

The winners of the Republican and Democratic primaries will square off in the November general election.
