What's Open/Closed Today?
On this day honoring Martin Luther King Jr., Macungie and Lower Macungie Township offices and the Lower Macungie Library are open. The East Penn School District is closed.
Monday marks the celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. It is a federal holiday, however, many businesses throught the Upper Macungie area will be open.
Here is a listing of what's open and closed on Martin Luther King Day:
- Lower Macungie Township offices: Open.
- Borough of Macungie: Open and a council meeting is scheduled for 7:30p.m. Here is the agenda.
- Garbage collection: Will take place.
- East Penn School District: Closed.
- Lower Macungie Library: Open normal hours.
- Lehigh County Courts: Closed.
- Post Offices: Closed. There will be no mail delivery.
- Banks: Have the option to open. Many will close.
- N.Y. Stock Exchange: Closed.
- Retail: Most retail establishments will be open.
