Labor Day means different things to everyone, but I'm sure everyone can agree that an extended weekend is the perfect way to start winding down the Summer season. Whether you want to use the weekend to relax and take your mind off work or you want to get outdoors and experience some of the events the Lehigh Valley has to offer, never forget the reason we have this 3-day weekend - to pay tribute to working men and women.

The Great Allentown Fair - Aug. 27 - Sept. 2.  Returning for its 161st year, this fair has become a Lehigh Valley signature event that signals the closing of summer and the start of a new fall season. This isn’t your typical fair with a few rides, games, and carnival food; it is SO MUCH MORE!

Head to Coca Cola Park for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre vs. Lehigh Valley IronPigs game! Game starts at 6:35pm on August 31st.

BETHLEHEM

Labor Day Sidewalk Sale at Sands Casino - Aug. 30 - Sept. 2.  From 11am through 6pm, get your shopping on at the Shoppes at Sands Luxury Outlets.

Take a hike - The number of places to hike, bike, walk, or just enjoy what being outdoors has to offer is endless in and around the Lehigh Valley, so gather your family and friends and spend some or all of Labor Day weekend outside!
