'Friends LMT' Summer Picnic to be Held 3 p.m. Sunday at the Willows

You're invited to the 'Friends for Protection of LMT' summer picnic at 3 p.m.  Sunday July 8 at the Willows Family Restaurant! Enjoy food, drink, games, Chinese auction, tubing and live music on the river!

'Friends' is a community smart growth advocacy group. In addition to raising awareness and fundraising to support community members appealing the 600 acre Jaindl development, we also advocate for other local growth and land use issues.

These include fostering a walk-able community, addressing traffic issues and growing in a financially sustainable way. Additionally we're supportive of and advocate for initiatives such as the creation of a township serving mixed use ordinance, the Greenway plan and the upcoming township smart growth implementation plan.

The group also faciliates occasional in and around the community. 

This is our largest event of the year and one of our major fundraisers to support the Jaindl legal fund to STOP the 600 acre warehouse, commercial and high density residential monstrosity, which will fundamentally change forever the western portion of our township.

When: July 8th 3-?pm at the Willows Restaurant!
What: Picnic Fundraiser and optional river tubing! 
Price: *All you can eat and drink $25! 

*All you can drink (beer) and food while supplies last, Music, Games and Fun! Horseshoes, bean bags ect. ect.

*All proceeds will be used solely to underwrite legal costs of appeal procedures to STOP the 700 acre "Spring Creek Subdivision" more commonly know as the 'Jaindl development' in Lower Macungie Township!
