Just enough snow for sledders!
The 3-4 inches was just enough to cover the Camp Olympic Hill! About 20 folks mostly kids and parents were using the hill around noon today. When I drove by earlier looked an even bigger crowd.
Well the much hyped snowstorm was a bust here in the township. I know I'm in the minority and tend to welcome the snow since I'm a skiier, but most woke up this morning and breathed a sigh of relief. Still we probably got just enough snow for some great conditions up the street at Bear Creek today.
The 3-4 inches (if even that!) is just enough to cover the Camp Olympic Sledding Hill! About 20 folks mostly kids and parents some teenagers were using the hill around noon today when I stopped by.
Driving by earlier it looked like an even bigger crowd. Definitely a great time. Check it out soon though! The cover is pretty thin and most likely won't last very long since the hill faces the afternoon sun.
