12 Freddy Nominations for EHS's 'Guys & Dolls'

Among the nominations announced by WFMZ Channel-69 was the big one: Outstanding Overall Production of a Musical.

The production of has garnered 12 Freddy nominations today as announced on WFMZ's noon broadcast.

Among them is the nomination for Outstanding Overall Production of a Musical, but there were 11 others for choreography, crew, lighting and some individual performances.

Mattea Pechter is nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for her portrayal of Miss Adelaide. Zach Petrovich is nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role for his interpretation of Nathan Detroit.

* Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role -- Mattea Pechter as Miss Adelaide.

* Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role -- Zach Petrovich as Nathan Detroit.

* Outstanding Choreography

* Outstanding Production Number -- "Sit Down You're Rockin' the Boat"

* Outstanding Stage Crew

* Outstanding Overall Production of a Musical

Emmaus High School tied Parkland High School in number of nominations. The only school with more nominations is Freedom High School, which has 17.

In 2011, EHS was nominated for 16 Freddys.

The award ceremony will be broadcast live on WFMZ from the in Easton at 7 p.m. May 24.
