Didra's current class is busy finishing the project. Vera Construction and Alside Supply Company have donated roofing materials and siding respectively towards the house's completion.
Upon its completion, the house will feature a chimney, a deck and a wheelchair ramp. The students are learning how to run electrical wire, install lighting and heating, drywall, and other techniques in creating the house. As a part of the class project, the students have also learned about the zoning & approvals process used in actual construction.
