Emmaus Bests Parkland In Girls Lacrosse

Hornets defeat Trojans, 10-3, in the season opener for both teams.

Spring sports season started in earnest last week despite chilly temperatures. Friday found the Emmaus High School and Parkland High School girls lacrosse teams facing off in the season opener for both squads.

Emmaus emerged victorious, 10-3, in the Lehigh Valley Conference game. Megan Traub scored three goals for the Hornets with Nicole Schmidt and Sarah Kazmierski chipping in two apiece.

Bri Mandry led Parkland's scoring with two goals.
