Students from Macungie Achieve Academic Honors

Some earned sheepskins, others were named to the Dean's List.

Several students from the Macungie area have been cited by their colleges and universities for academic achievement: 

Devon Knauss, of Macungie, graduated from The University of Delaware. 

Daniel Robins Margolis of Macungie, was named to the Dean's List for the spring 2013 semester at Washington University in St. Louis.

Shannon Lilly of Macungie, has made the Spring 2013 Dean's List at Hofstra University. She is a member of the Class of 2014, majoring in anthropology and psychology.

Christopher Contino of Macungie, graduated from Stevenson University.

Nicholas M. Wiener of Macungie, a senior majoring in Neuroscience in the College of Arts & Sciences, was named to the Dean’s List at the University of Vermont.

Elizabeth Hayman, of Macungie, has been named to the spring 2013 Dean's List at Loyola University Maryland. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must have a GPA of at least 3.5 with a minimum of 15 credits.
