Accomplishment: Won first place in the chemistry category at the Region 3 science fair of the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science. This region includes Schuylkill, Berks, Lehigh, Carbon and Northampton counties.

Key to Awesomeness: In Chad’s project, "Do Drinks Affect Your Teeth?” he researched which drink dissolves a tooth most efficiently. He dissolved teeth which he acquired from Lehigh Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in different drinks: coffee, water, Red Bull, orange juice, grape juice, Mountain Dew, and milk. He was surprised to discover the Red Bull dissolved teeth most completely.
Chad’s favorite subject in school is Spanish. He enjoys playing basketball, and going snowboarding, skateboarding and camping in his free time.

Following graduation, he plans to attend college for graphic design. “I don’t know where I want to go to college,” he said. “I still have lots of time.”
