Accomplishment: She won first place in the physics division of the Region 3 science fair for the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science. This region includes Schuylkill, Berks, Lehigh, Carbon and Northampton counties.

Key to Awesomeness: Nikelle chose the topic, “Which Type of Bridge Model is Most Stable?” for her entry into the science fair.
She designed and constructed 15 different types of bridges, each built from balsa wood. She chose this type of wood because of its light weight and high quality in strength; therefore, making it perfect for the building of sturdy model bridges.

She then continued to put weight on each one of the bridge models until they broke, in order to see which structure was the strongest.
Nikelle’s favorite subject at school is algebra. She enjoys fashion designing and is a cheerleader for the school.
Upon graduation, she plans to attend New York University to become a “major fashion designer in New York and Paris.”
