Alburtis Crime Prevention Pool Party

The and have teamed to sponsor a Crime Prevention Pool Party. Details are as follows:

-- Noon to 8 p.m.

-- @ Alburtis Area Community Center Pool, 242 Walnut St.

-- Games, music, raffles and free hot dogs

-- Cost: season pass holders-free, 3 years and older-$5, under 3-free. $1 off to those who bring a canned good to be donated to local food banks.

-- Electronic and Universal Waste Recycling Day Event held 1-4 p.m. in conjunction with the pool party (need not attend pool party to participate). (See separate Patch calendar listing for more details.) Many items may be dropped off for free; however, certain items have an associated cost to properly dispose of hazardous or data sensitive material, such as hard drives, computer monitors, dehumidifiers, air conditioners, televisions, freezers and refrigerators.
