Family Fun Fest

Community Bike Works hosts the 3rd Annual Family Fun Fest at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center

Free admission to watch the adult tricycle races, Da Vinci Science Center demonstrations, a magician, music, and more!

TREXLERTOWN, PA-  Community Bike Works is partnering with the Valley Preferred Cycling Center in Trexlertown to host a unique day of fun and excitement for families on Sunday, September 16th, from noon to 4:00 p.m.

The event will feature family-friendly games, face painting, science demonstrations by the Da Vinci Science Center, magic by Magician Phil LaPorta, music by Peripheral Vision (the Olympus Corporate Band), and food by Smokin’ Bandits. Attendees will also be able to meet 2000 Olympic gold medalist and three-time world cycling champion Marty Nothstein and Lehigh University men's basketball coach Brett Reed.

A featured event is the adult tricycle relay races, in
which teams of four race around the inner track of the Velodrome. Attendees will cheer on their favorite teams and see that riding an adult-sized tricycle is not as easy as it looks!

A silent auction will showcase items including an autographed hat from country music star Trace Adkins, an autographed ball from the Lehigh University men's basketball team, kids' bikes, and more.


“Community Bike Works has helped so many inner city kids,” Marty Nothstein stated. “I’m excited to help keep this program a success.”


Admission is free; a small charge for some activities will
support the organization's programs.
