While Thursday's winds made temperatures a little bit unseasonably chilly, some hardy souls still came out to enjoy the Macungie Fireman's Carnival.
The traditional pre-summer event began Tuesday and will continue through Saturday on the fire company grounds in the borough. Warmer weather is expected Friday and Saturday, which should allow those waiting to enjoy the outdoors a chance to do so.
Events begin at 6 nightly. They include rides, games, bingo and food. Friday's musical entertainment will feature karaoke. Junior's Grades will provide live music on Saturday.
