Flicks, Football, FREE Stuff: Your Weekend

Here's your look at what's happening in the East Penn area this weekend.

Looking for a way to keep busy (and warm) in and around the Lehigh Valley this weekend? Here are a few suggestions:

1. Catch a movie at The Emmaus Theatre. Old-fashioned charm, close-to-home, reasonable ticket prices and selections for all ages. What more could you ask for? This weekend's films include: "Las Vegas," "Thor," and "Freebirds." Visit the theater's website for showtimes.

2. Catch the Eagles in playoff action. In case you didn't know it, the Eagles will take the field at home against the New Orleans Saints at 8:10 p.m. on Saturday. The game will be broadcast on NBC. In response to a query about weekend happenings, Emmaus Patch Facebook friend Sharie A Sacco shared her plans in one word: Eagles !!! If you are a Saints fan, I guess you can watch the game too.

3. Visit the Allentown Art Museum -- for FREE: Bank of America's Museums on Us promotion runs Jan. 4 and 5.

4. Prove you're a smarty pants: Team Trivia night at Lee Gribbens on Main runs from 9 to 11 p.m. Lee Gribbens is located at 194 Main Street in Emmaus.
