The Macungie Flower Park provides seasonal decorations that include candy canes for Christmas, colored eggs for Easter and scarecrows for fall, but it's most breathtaking in the summer when it features more than 10,000 flowers that surround a spectacular fountain. Designed to have something in bloom during every warm month, its creators planned it to be in its fullest bloom over the first week in August when the town is abuzz with its annual Das Awkscht Fescht celebration. Whatever the season, the park shares its finery with the oldtime train station in the background that only adds to its charm.
