A Good Samaritan who took in a lost kitten in the Trexlertown area is trying to find its owner

A kitten was found Monday at Redner's in Trexlertown, according to this Lehigh Valley Craigslist post: "...poor thing was cold and muddy. I brought it home and gave it a bath and some kitten food, kitten is also being treated for a eye infection, I would say about 6 weeks old, litter trained. True sweetheart!! Berks-Lehigh Regional Police are trying to find the owner of a pit bull found near Coldwater Crossings

Police are asking for help to find the owner of a very friendly brown female pit bull wearing a light-colored studded collar. The dog was found around 5 p.m. Thursday in the area of the Route 222 bypass near Coldwater Crossings. Anyone with information is asked to contact Berks-Lehigh Regional Police at 610-437-5252.

Black and White Cat Spotted in Macungie has been Reunited With its Owner

Baxter lived in the neighborhood where he was found.

The green-eyed, pink-nosed sweetheart that had been appearing a Macungie neighborhoos last week has been reunited with its owner. "Turns out Baxter's owner is an older gentleman who also lives [here]  -- just a few buildings away. "The man's son saw our posting on Craigslist and came and picked the cat up last night," said the woman who posted the notice," she said.

The female cat named Lily is described as small but fluffy, nine pounds and eight years old. She sneaked out of her home near Brookside Road on Saturday.
