If you bought your Powerball ticket in Pennsylvania, you did not win last night's $588 million jackpot. Two winning tickets were sold in the Nov. 28 Powerball lottery, according to Powerball.com. Those tickets were sold in Arizona and Missouri. The winning Nov. 28 numbers were 5-16-22-23-29 with a Powerball of 6. In Pennsylvania, there were a total of 536,497 players who won a prize by matching some combination of numbers, according to the Powerball website's winners by state page. The Powerball jackpot has climbed to $250 million after no one matched the winning numbers in Saturday night's drawing. The next drawing in the multi-state lottery -- including Pennsylvania -- will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 21. A standard Powerball wager costs $2, but players can select a "Power Play" option for an additional $1 when purchasing the ticket. Power Play increases the cash prize for any winning combination that isn't a jackpot. The Powerball lottery is played in 42 states, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands. A Cash 5 lottery ticket worth $1 million was sold at Top Star Express on Hamilton Boulevard in Trexlertown, Lehigh County. Winner Ricky Robertson of Upper Macungie Township told WFMZ he plans to buy a new house and invest the rest of his winnings. An Emmaus man won almost half a million dollars in the Pennsylvania lottery. What would you do with that much money?
Robert Slusaw, 77, of Emmaus claimed the Cash 5 lottery ticket worth $496,018 that was sold at the Hess Express at 4002 Chestnut St. in Upper Milford, according to a story in the Express-Times. Did you buy a lottery ticket at Turkey Hill in Macungie on the night of Oct. 18? If so, you may be the winner of $250,000, said a representative of the store. "The Pennsylvania Lottery Board called us this morning to tell us that a winning 'Mega Millions' ticket was sold here last night," she said, "We had no idea."
