Lower Macungie Township

Township Could Turn Off Water to 50 Families

Lower Macungie Township officials have said they will turn off water at the end of October if sewer bills are not paid.

Lower Macungie Township officials announced at the Sept. 20 and Oct. 4 Board of Commissioners meetings that they will soon take action against residents who have not paid their sewer bills. By the end of October, up to 50 residents could have water service terminated if bills are not paid. The township WILL NOT TURN WATER OFF IF a payment plan has been set up BEFORE Oct. 31. However, if no action is taken, water will only be restored if FULL PAYMENT is made. For more information, call the Lower Macungie Township offices at 610-966-4343.

I for one know of a …   more ›
