CB Radio Stolen from Tractor, Police Say

The theft of a CB radio valued at $250 took place from a tractor at 1030 Blue Barn Road in Upper Mac.

Upper Macungie Police are seeking help concerning a recent theft from a vehicle at 1030 Blue Barn Road. Police said the door to a tractor trailer was open at the site and a CB radio valued at $250 was stolen. Police did not give the date or time of the incident. Anyone with information concerning this crime is asked to contact Upper Macungie Police at 484-661-5911.

Garden Tools, GPS, Sirius Radio and More Stolen in Lower Mac

Police might do well to look for a homeowner with a well-maintained lawn when looking to solve a recent theft in Lower Macungie Township. James C. Doherty of 938 Brookside Road on March 3 reported two chainsaws, a leaf blower and a pressure washer among items stolen between March 1 and 3, according to state police at Fogelsville. The equipment was value at $750. Other recent Lower Macungie incidents recently included: Theft from motor vehicle: Reported by Pamela Hysick, 27, of Catasauqua at 6714 Lower Macungie Road; a GPS and Sirius Satellite Radio were taken from her vehicle between 9:30 and 11 p.m. March 8, police said; $350 estimated value. Pennsylvania Stat Police recently reported the following Lower Macungie incidents: Theft from motor vehicle: Reported by Samantha Ludwig at 6479 Village Lane; $250 stolen between 6 and 8:30 p.m. March 9 from her unlocked vehicle, police said. Access device fraud: Reported by an unidentified Highland Court resident; $1,094.14 purchase from the victim's American Express card on Feb. 22, police said. Theft: Reported by Rosalie Keddington of 4880 Meadowview Drive; her purse and jacket were taken from an unknown location between midnight and 7 a.m. March 1, police said.
