Rash of Thefts from Vehicles Hits Lower Mac Neighborhood, Police Say
Several Ancient Oaks residents report thefts from unlocked motor vehicles Jan. 24, troopers report.
One or more thieves recently concentrated their efforts on vehicles in a Lower Macungie Township neighborhood and apparently had a bit of success, police said. According to state police at Fogelsville, those responsible checked for open vehicles and helped themselves to money found inside between 10 p.m. Jan. 23 and 8 a.m. Jan. 24. Five victims reported incidents to police. Those reporting incidents were as follows: -- Andrea Miller of Oak Drive; -- Jon Gordon of Oak Drive; -- Gerald Wojciechowski of Catalpa Drive; -- Claude Wilson os Spring Creek Circle; and -- Mamata Shah of Cedar Road.
