Not just petty theft this time, police say.
So much has been made lately about relatively petty thefts from vehicles in Lower Macungie, but a township woman probably wishes that were all that was taken from her. Instead of just a few items being stolen from her car, someone made off with the whole vehicle, according to state police at Fogelsville. Police did not give a vehicle description, including color, or registration number. Stacey Bowen reported that her 2007 Volkswagen Passat was stolen from her residence at 1203 Eagle St., police said. Police did not offer a value on the car, but a suggested retail value for an average 2007 Passat is $13,400, according to Kelly Blue Book.
